Digital tools for teaching English
The LTTA has been scheduled for language teachers who want to integrate educational apps and digital tools into their methodology, practicing the latest language teaching approaches.
Two teachers, preferably teaching English, from each partner organization will participate in this LTTA.
Participants will become familiar with some of the most suitable educational apps for language teaching and learning. They will update/upgrade their skills and their pedagogical approach. They will gain practical experience and they will be able to foster students’ engagement and motivation. The course will guarantee the participants the necessary knowledge to integrate modern digital apps in the classroom.
Participants will be able to:
- use different educational apps in a language class
- know a variety of apps to enrich students’ vocabulary and comprehension
- acquire a general overview of the many educational possibilities of using educational apps
- be able to choose the most suitable tools according to students’ needs and learning styles
- be able to use Games and Quizzes Apps in the classroom.
- improve their command of English in a multi-cultural context
- meet other teachers from different countries
- share experiences and ideas
- discuss good practices
Training topics:
- Introduction to the training course
- Enhance teachers’ ICT skills
- Update teacher’s pedagogical approach
- Implement ICT into classroom – using basic ICT tools such as web 2.0 tools, Google Drive office suite, etc.
- Motivate students by using learning Games and Quizzes
- Using the knowledge in participants’ school:
a) Reflect on the practices in participants’ classroom and school
b) Develop an action plan for participants’ classroom and school - Identify sources of support
- Sharing ideas, games, ICT
- Discussion – Evaluation

CLIL for language teachers
The LTTA has been scheduled for teachers who want to integrate CLIL tools for teaching.
Two teachers from each partner organization will participate in this LTTA.
The main purpose of CLIC method is to learn content through a foreign language. Participants will become familiar with some of the most suitable CLIL tools for teaching and learning.
They will gain practical experience and they will become better equipped to integrate technology into CLIL principles and methodology in their everyday lessons. They will be able tohelp students learn content through a foreign language.
Participants will be able to:
- familiarize themselves with CLIL tools for teaching
- acquire a greater understanding of the principles underlying CLIL methodology
- become better equipped to integrate technology into CLIL principles and methodology in their everyday lessons
- develop their skills in designing CLIL learning materials
- gain the skills to create their own teaching materials
- become better equipped to integrate technology into CLIL principles and methodology in their everyday lessons
- improve their command of English in a multi-cultural context
- meet other teachers from different countries
- share experiences and ideas
- discuss good practices

Online teaching and learning
The LTTA has been scheduled for teachers of all specialties who want to learn how to use a combination of asynchronous and synchronous education for the Pedagogical utilization of ICT and Web 2.0 tools in the implementation of collaborative activities and their integration in their lessons.
Two teachers from each partner organization will participate in this LTTA.
Participants will become familiar with the opportunities that online teaching and learning puts at their disposal. With the outbreak of Coronavirus being declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation, people worldwide were faced a major challenge. COVID-19 has reviving the need to explore online teaching and learning opportunities.
Participants will be able to:
- familiarize themselves with asynchronous and synchronous education
- acquire a greater understanding of the potential for learning through online teaching
- become better equipped to integrate online teaching and learning
- allow students and teachers to work together to meet scheduled targets in their everyday lessons
- improve their command of English in a multi-cultural context
- meet other teachers from different countries
- share experiences and ideas
- discuss good practices
